5. Sell loot and pick up the cash. Open a bank account (as a civilian) and launder.
6. Save for a plot. You can only rent in an owned settlement.
7. Join a clan; you can switch any time.
8. Look for workbenches and modules, not just guns.
9. On the last day cash out, don’t build.
