💵 Money
The loop: earn → sell → collect cash → launder → spend.
| Route | What it is | Catch |
|---|---|---|
| Loot and robberies | Find valuables and sell them | Criminal status risks your bag and gear |
| Cargo | Haul and trade shipments | Route and vehicle matter |
| Production | Base businesses | Needs a base; raid risk |
| Police | Shifts, confiscating contraband | Needs a free slot |
| Settlements and territory | A share from residents and land | Must be collected in person |
Three states of money
- Valuables: still need selling.
- Cash: can be stolen or confiscated.
- Banked: protected from theft until the wipe.
Open an account at the Looty Bay bank as a civilian. Laundering goes through the Laundering Desk at your base and takes time; ATMs let you withdraw cash. Lenny stores cash only, not goods.
The Laundering Desk
The desk sits in your base and has two tabs: “Storage” (take out cash, up to $425,000 at a time) and “Laundering” (move laundered money to your bank account).

| Base speed | $54,000 per hour |

Tier 1 settlements and land rent are bought with documents instead of cash; on 5 Nov their price (and that of houses and vehicles) was raised, and they can still be found in loot. Base businesses are far more profitable, the Laundering Desk holds many times more money, and tax for tier 2–3 settlement owners went up. Cargo is usually better disassembled at a base workbench than sold. Seasonal currency cap is 1,000 (was 350).
